• Ladies in Real Estate (LiRE) was started following an informal catch-up between several women working in real estate in London. Adina David, LiRE’s founder, had just relocated from New York to London in 2016 and was looking to grow her network locally.
• The intention was to try to get together once a month and develop the friendships as each woman pursued her career path in the industry. The consistency in monthly meetings was key to strengthening the group and to providing value to the members.
• The group launched in its current format, as an informal breakfast gathering, in early 2017.
